Traditionally, high-temperature applications have included equipment on power stations with high-pressure steam or exhaust covers. However, with the increase in green energy production, there has been a significant rise in biomass plants & companies providing stand-alone CHP plants.
Jade Direct is well positioned to provide high-temperature insulation jackets to suit any requirement, manufactured from specialist materials to withstand 800°C constant running (1000°C for short periods). Our insulation covers provide improved energy system performance whilst offering greater personnel protection where the plant is often positioned within touching distance for maintenance personnel & operators.

Materials
Materials are selected to offer the most efficient and cost-effective solution, including silica and graphite coated fabrics with a mixture of encapsulated insulation from high-density mineral wool, glass needle mat and ceramic fibre. We also carry a range of Promat Microtherm, which can be fabricated into covers for the highest temperature protection at the least possible thickness.
Fastenings range from straps with double D ring fastenings to hooks with wire or spring tensioners. For larger flange /expansion bellows in duct work, we can include circumferential belts retained in belt loops to offer increased security with the fastening load spread around the complete cover.
